The Stockholm breakfast event confirmed it: Our People, AI & Data programme responds to a real need
Morning light filtered through the windows of Westmanska Palatset as a group of leaders gathered at Greenstep’s Stockholm office to reflect on one of the most pressing questions of our time: how do you actually get people, AI, and data to work together for the success of a company?
The event was full, and so was the atmosphere. No abstract AI talk, but practical experiences and insights from leaders grappling with the same transformation.
Three speakers took the floor:
Helén Malmberg (Head of L&D, Greenstep Sweden) spoke about what kind of leadership the current situation demands, and how important it is for management to truly own AI development. In times of change, it is not enough for technology to advance. Leaders must evolve alongside it and create a psychologically safe environment for learning, unlearning, and creating.
Anna Carlsén (Analytics Business Lead, Greenstep) reminded the audience that data quality and availability are the foundation of everything. “AI amplifies what is already there.” Data maturity is not a technical question, it is part of an organisation’s leadership culture.
Annika Elfström (AI Sweden) shared how AI is already transforming corporate decision-making and competitiveness. She spoke about the courage to challenge old structures and how organisations can move from experimentation towards real-scale adoption.
The challenge: how do you actually roll out AI across an organisation?
The questions and discussions from participants told the same story. Leaders know that change is inevitable, but knowing alone is not enough. How do you genuinely embed AI into an organisation so that it shows up in everyday life, not just in strategy documents? How do you bring the entire workforce along when some are immediately enthusiastic and others put on the brakes?
The pace of change is relentless, and it shows: new systems and ways of working must be adopted quickly, and not everyone is equally prepared for that.
It is precisely into this gap — between intent and reality — that our People, AI & Data programme was born.
A three-day programme for leaders
The People, AI & Data programme was created to give leaders a clear, practical framework for navigating transformation. The programme is developed in collaboration with Greenstep’s AI and analytics services, and is structured across three days:
- Day 1: People. Before the shared day, a current-state assessment is conducted that gives an honest picture of the organisation’s AI readiness, leadership capabilities, and data prerequisites. The first day focuses on people: how do you build trust and a culture of learning — one where acquiring new skills and letting go of old habits is possible even when the pace of change is high? Participants gain practical tools for how leaders can support the whole organisation through change.
- Day 2: AI. On the second day, participants identify processes within their own business where AI could save significant time or improve decision-making quality. Not a general discussion of possibilities, but a hands-on exercise looking at your own organisation, assessing where AI genuinely helps, where it does not, and what adoption requires from leadership. By the end of the day, participants leave with a prioritised list of experiments that can be put into practice.
- Day 3: Data. On the third day, participants work together with Greenstep’s data and AI experts to find out whether their organisation’s data is truly high-quality and usable for AI. For many leaders, this day is eye-opening: it becomes clear why sales and finance report different numbers, or why customer data is scattered across five different systems. The day provides a clear picture of what needs to be fixed first, and in what order.
The programme does not offer shortcuts. It offers a structure through which leaders can navigate transformation. Thoughtfully and on their own terms.
